Mall Trip

I am at the mall, walking around with my daughter. Just me and her...
I had to stop to record my thoughts. I just bought her a
present...and it gives me so much pleasure to provide something nice
for Zoey. I am so enamored of her! She has been sleeping the entire
time so far, but she is angelic in her carseat/ stroller. I love her
so much!

Frustrating

Tonight has been rather frustrating. Zoey has pretty much cried from about 7:45 on tonight unless she was eating. It is 11:35 now, and she has finally calmed down in the last 10 minutes. The key tonight? Classical Music! Well...time to get out the old CD's and rip them into the iPod for the car methinks...

At one point Zoey wouldn't stop, so Abbie came in and nursed her for awhile. After she was done, she kind of drifted off. As soon as she was passed to me she woke back up and started crying. I know you have to take the good with the bad, but boy can this be difficult sometimes. I just need to constantly remind myself that this is a 7-week-old who is doing what all 7-week-olds do...

Wedding fun

Zoey really enjoyed being at Doug and Julia's wedding today! She ate most of the time, but that's what you are supposed to do at a wedding, right? She wore a beautiful dress and sun cap. She was adorable! She got a little taste of what it was like at our wedding, since they also did it outside with the mountains all around in the distance. The sun was out, there was a cool breeze, and the entire ceremony was beautiful. She got to meet several people she hadn't yet, like my my friends from work, Steve and Kerri. She will attend another wedding in a few months! Boy is she getting around!
