time flies...

I can't believe I have not written in almost a month! Wow time flies!
We enjoyed a nice weekend with my mom and Karl, grandma & grandpa.
Zoey showed grandma & grandpa all around the nature center on Saturday
and had a great time! She really likes watching all of the animals and identifying
them by name and sound.
Zoey has had an amazing boom in words the last week. I can't keep up with how
many words she is now saying, the list is well over 100 words. Here are the words
she has said in the last couple of days for the first time: boat, yellow, Abbie (she repeats
my name if anyone says it, but is calling me mama), monkey, umbrella, stuck, black,
pinky (pink), fork, & thank you. I hope I have not repeated any- it is really getting
hard to keep track of her language development on a daily basis. She is such a
sponge- hearing me talk to a friend at the park or on the phone- she repeats the words I am saying even if I think she can't hear me or isn't paying attention to me.
She now jumps, runs, and does forward rolls (with a little support). She absolutely loves our Little Gym classes. I love them too- in my opinion, they are really the best children's class I have come across so far- and our teacher is fantastic. Zoey has also done backwards rolls, hanging on the bars, and trying the balance beam in the short amount of time we have been taking classes there. I get so excited on Friday morning knowing that it is Little Gym day!
Well.... One Life to Live is on.... and I better catch the end of it.... and then watch the Packers.
